Brazil v Egypt expected line up

Premier League players Fabio and Lucas Leiva in training for Brazil (Mowa Press)

Brazil are expected to make four changes from the side that beat Gabon 2-0. I was quite impressed with the attack and midfield in the game considering the state of the pitch. Hulk, Jonas, Hernanes and Bruno César are all expected to start again for Brazil.  Lucas Leiva and Fernandinho are likely to come into the midfield in place of Sandro and Elias. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Kaká or Marcelo will overcome their injuries and be able to take part in the game. The terrible Alex Sandro is likely to get his first start for the national team at left back.

The match is being played in Doha today and will kick off at 15:00hs Brazil time (17:00 UK). Unfortunately I’ve got classes at that time. Aaargh!!!

Brazil’s expected line up: Diego Alves, Daniel Alves, Thiago Silva, David Luiz and Alex Sandro; Lucas Leiva, Fernandinho, Hernanes and Bruno César; Jonas and Hulk.
