São Paulo goalkeeper (and legend) Rogério Ceni scored his 100th goal in professional football yesterday. And he scored it in the perfect way: in a derby match against local rivals Corinthians. It’s quite an amazing achievement and the player is a true São Paulo and general football legend. The 100 goals are split between 44 penalties and 56 free kicks. Continue reading

Two Neymar goals help Brazil beat Scotland 2-0

Young Neymar was once again the star of the show. This time, however, he was wearing the famous yellow and green of Brazil as opposed to the white and black of Santos. Nonetheless he’s quality and hopefully we’ll see him get out on the pitch and make his debut.

Leandro Damião has now scored 13 goals in 8 games for Inter (Alexandre Lops/SCInter/VIPCOMM)

Cruzeiro smash six past Deportes Tolima, while Internacional win away from home 4 x 1 in Bolivia. Santos lose 3 x 2 in Chile against Colo Col. Flamengo and Palmeiras both win and progress in the Brazilian Cup. Continue reading
